Grand Junction CO
OMG what a fantastic town this is! Cute downtown, spotlessly clean and very artistic!
There are two major public art exhibits in the downtown area. The first is the Art on the Corner project which was started in 1984 and consists of over 100 sculptures in a variety of mediums and styles. The second is the Legends Sculpture Project which showcases the stores of those historically significant men and women who have shaped the Grand Valley. A small sampling . . .
There are murals all over the place.
An interesting discovery on a side street as we walked the riverwalk.
Since it is Easter Sunday all car rental places were closed so we couldn't go to the Colorado National Monument. I borrowed this image.
Gotta say - I could live here.
